Brujula: Finding Direction, Building Dreams

By Maria del Carmen Velez V | Directora Ejecutiva

Over the past months, our adolescents have taken significant steps in shaping their future through the Brújula program. This initiative has become a compass guiding them toward self-awareness, purpose, and opportunity.

Personal Discovery and Vocational Clarity

Through reflective workshops and guided activities, participants were able to identify their interests, strengths, and core values. This self-knowledge has helped them better understand the personal factors that influence their life choices and vocational paths.

Strengthening Life Skills

Our experiential workshops focused on developing essential life skills such as empathy, assertive communication, emotional self-regulation, and conscious decision-making. These competencies are crucial for both academic success and future employment.

Real Pathways to the Future

Thanks to events like the vocational fair and future exploration workshops, adolescents gained access to real information about technical, technological, and university education pathways, as well as entrepreneurship and complementary training opportunities.

Engagement and Group Cohesion

We observed a noticeable increase in participation and engagement during the sessions. The groups became more cohesive, showing greater trust in the space and a positive attitude toward the proposed activities.

Reflective Dynamics for Resilience

Through powerful dynamics such as “Stones on the Path” and “Making It Count”, participants identified personal obstacles and developed strategies to overcome them. These moments fostered a hopeful and realistic vision of the future, empowering them to move forward with confidence.
