To our global community of supporters,
Because of your unwavering generosity, 32,833 children walked into the unknown of their first night in foster care with something brand new, soft, and entirely theirs in 2025!
Why a Pair of Pajamas Matters...
For a child entering the foster care system, the first 24 hours are often defined by transition and uncertainty. Often, they arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their backs or a few belongings in a trash bag.
A new pair of pajamas is more than just fabric; it is a warm embrace in a moment of crisis. It provides:
Dignity: Replacing the "hand-me-down" narrative with something fresh and chosen for them.
Routine: Helping establish a sense of normalcy and "bedtime" in a completely foreign environment.
Security: Offering physical warmth and comfort when their world feels cold and unpredictable.
"We cannot change the circumstances that bring a child into care, but we can change the way they are treated once they arrive." — Rob Scheer
Thank you for being the heart behind these numbers. You are ensuring that for tens of thousands of children, the first night away from home is a little less frightening and a lot more comfortable.
Sincerely,
The Comfort Cases Team
