Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) to reach 1 million poor families residing in rural areas of Pakistan, Asia & Africa. AHD Nadi filter is an innovative solution of safe drinking water that started in 2006 with one filter and now in 2024 reached 365,000 families and enabled 6.3 million rural/vulnerable people & getting safe and clean drinking water. UN SDG # 6 happens to be done in 3.6 million households & needs to reach more million families 2025 to 2030.
Dr Victoria has been using Nadi filter water since the past 17 years. https://youtu.be/kBTZqREokGc?si=qOXLi1733ljJgN7P
Access to safe drinking water is not just a humanitarian issue, it is one of the largest and fastest-growing global markets. Today, the global safe drinking water sector is valued at over USD 340 billion, driven largely by bottled water and centralized systems that remain inaccessible or unaffordable for rural and the low-income communities. While this market is projected to exceed almost USD 500–600 billion by 2030, millions of families in developing regions still rely on unsafe sources. This gap between commercial growth and human need is where Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) comes in, creating locally owned, low cost and nature based water solutions that serve communities the global market continues to overlook.
