Transform The Life Of Homeless People In Venezuela

WE DIGNIFY THE LIVES OF VENEZUELANS WITH HEALTH AND A SECOND OPPORTUNITY

In the first half of 2025, we used our Panabus mobile unit to provide medical care and health days to homeless people and vulnerable communities in Caracas and its surrounding areas. During this period, we provided care to 428 homeless individuals and 765 people in low-income communities in Caracas and the state of Miranda.

Our street routes have allowed us to address the specific needs of this population, adding 75 new individuals to our social reinsertion program, Familia Panabus. In this program, each beneficiary receives psychosocial support, specialized medical care, laboratory tests, treatments, and donations of basic supplies, such as food, personal hygiene kits, clothing, and linens. Additionally, we offer vocational workshops. Recently, the women in the program received weaving and sewing classes so they can generate income for themselves and their families.

In the coming months, the Santa en las Calles Foundation will continue to support people experiencing homelessness and living in vulnerable situations in our city and neighboring towns through its Panabus program. Additionally, we will launch our new mobile gynecological care unit for women experiencing homelessness, Panarosa. This unit will be the first of its kind in Venezuela. We are excited to bring general medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, and mastology services to this population. Stay tuned because very soon the Panarosa will be traveling around Caracas!

One more year transforming the lives of Venezuelan

The Panabus social program closes the year 2024 with 820 people assisted in
street situations, 25 social reintegrations, and 1,200 people assisted in
vulnerable situations.

To celebrate our seventh anniversary, we were able to integrate the following
services into our Health Days: general medicine, anthropometry, gynecology
and obstetrics, cytology, ultrasound, contraceptive methods, pediatrics, nutrition,
internal medicine, traumatology and orthopedics, physiotherapy, occupational
therapy, aesthetic medicine, and dentistry, among other medical specialties.
Additionally, we provided psychosocial care and legal advice.

Panabus will continue to travel the streets of Caracas and visit vulnerable
communities in our capital and surrounding areas. Today, more than ever, we
are committed to extending a helping hand to those who need it most through
our street routes, the Panabus Family social reintegration program, and our
Health Days.
