Dear Supporter,
Pedal Power for Kenyan Education continues to serve hundreds of students and their families in Busia County, Kenya. The $2,350 donated and $300 matching GlobalGiving funds from the July Bonus Day Campaign will go towards the next purchase of Buffalo Bicycles. There are currently 660 of these heavy-duty bikes at a total of 26 high schools.
Grow Against Poverty volunteers, school staff and parents stress bicycle safety. All students are required to use the helmet and safety vest that is issued to them. As this program is over 6 years old, a number of these vests and helmets need replacement. Our current fundraising is going towards replacing them. Donations are always welcome. Please click the "GIVE NOW" button.
Thanks again for your contributions that are helping hundreds of students improve their academics, stay in school, graduate and for more to attend college.
Regards,
John Roccanova
