Dear Donors,
45 students who use Buffalo Bicycles for school transportation competed in this year’s Cycling for Climate Action race as well as pace setters and teachers. Pedal Power for Kenyan Education volunteers organized the event with great support from the community. Local businesses provided food and water before, during and after the race. Police cleared the roads for the cyclists, and the Kenya Red Cross Society Busia Chapter was on hand. Hundreds of people lined the roads to watch the race. Busia County’s Education Department Director was in attendance and local media covered the event for online newscasts.
Cycling for Climate Action was possible because donors like you funded the Buffalo Bicycles. Your contributions are appreciated by the students, their families, school staff and community members.
Your continued support will go to funding additional bicycles, helmets and safety vests so that more students will benefit from Pedal Power for Kenyan Education.
Tuesday, December 2 is GIVING TUESDAY. Donations made that day will earn matching funds from GlobalGiving.
Regards,
John
