Dear HOPE friend,
First of all, thank you for being there with us on this journey hoping to rehabilitate as many children as possible from the debilitating burn injuries.
In these uncertain post-pandemic conditions, many medical facilities in Cox's Bazar had to close their doors due to the risk of spreading the virus or lack of financial resources to face the consequences of the lockdowns and the COVID-19 waves. We are happy to share with you that thanks to many generous donors like you and trusted partners all our health facilities are running and taking care of the increasing number of patients in need of medical services.
We trained all our staff in infection control and provided all of them with the equipment they need to be safe and to safely take care of the patients, minimizing any chance of spreading the virus.
We will keep you updated as soon as the information about our next Burn-Surgery-Camp is in place.
