Dear HOPE Supporter,
We hope this email finds you well. We are excited to announce that ReSurge International is currently at HOPE Hospital conducting its second burn repair camp! Your support not only helps us bring patients to the hospital but provide around-the-clock care for them post-surgery as well as for their follow-up visits after ReSurge leaves Bangladesh.
ReSurge International, a California-based non-profit will not only repair burn victims through reconstructive surgery, but they will also continue to train our local team, midwives and village health workers on how to respond to burn immediately to prevent permanent damage. When our vilalge health workers are trained in such a manner, they will be available in their home villages to repspond to children who are accidentally burned and located far from a hospital. The healthw orker will respond with the most effective first aid and educate the parents on the importance of their children getting to a hospital or medical center for thorough reatment.
ReSurge International and supporters like YOU enable us to save more and more lives of those most vulnerable. Thank you for your support and we look forward to sharing patient stories with you after their trip!
Sincerely,
Ashley Pugh
