Dear HOPE Supporter,
I wanted to take this time to share an incredible story with you about to demonstrate just how much your contributions impact the lives of those HOPE provides care for:
Mohammad is a son of a day laborer who has a very low income. When Mohammad was only two months old, a lamp fell on him while he was asleep and burnt his neck, developing a debilitating contracture.
Mohammad was only taken to a nearby medical store after the injury. His parents were not financially sound enough to take him to a medical facility for treatment. Mohammad could not straighten his neck or carry anything due to the contracture. Boys his age tended to ignore him, and he was socially isolated from his peers. Mohammad is just 15 years old now.
The surgery was done at HOPE's third camp Mohammad is excited to start his life fresh, feeling more confident than he ever has before.
From Mohammad's family to the HOPE family, we thank you for your unwavering support to provide life-changing care for burn victims.
Best Regards,
Ashley Pugh
