Project Title: Pool Fund for Disaster Emergency in Pakistan
Update Title: Pool Funds Met Emergency in Chakwal, Punjab Floods 2025

Dear Supporters,

We are pleased to share with you the impact of your generous contributions to our Pool Fund for Disaster Emergency in Pakistan.

In June-July 2025, During heavy monsoon rains triggered flash floods in Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, displacing families and damaging homes. With the support of our donors through GlobalGiving & iltizam relief Society, Malaysia, NDF Pakistan mobilized immediate relief.

150 food packets were distributed among the most affected families in August 2025. Each packet contained essential items such as flour, rice, lentils, oil, tea, and other dry rations to sustain a family for several days.

This support was a lifeline for families who had lost everything in the floods. Mothers expressed relief knowing that their children would have food, and elderly community members thanked donors for extending help in their time of need.

Next Steps

NDF Pakistan will continue to monitor the situation and respond to emergencies as pool funds allow. We are also working to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience in flood-prone areas.
