Pakistan frequently faces natural and human-made disasters, including floods, fires, and earthquakes. In such emergencies, timely response is critical to save lives, provide basic necessities, and reduce long-term suffering.
A disaster pool fund allows NDF Pakistan to respond immediately, without waiting for separate project approvals or individual donations. With support from GlobalGiving crowdfunding, this pool fund has enabled rapid mobilization of relief to affected communities across Sindh and other provinces.
1. Project Objectives
To provide immediate relief during emergencies
To ensure rapid response to natural or human-made disasters
To support vulnerable populations, including persons with disabilities
To strengthen community resilience and recovery
2. Activities Implemented During Reporting Period
Activation of the pool fund to respond to emergencies
Distribution of food, water, clothing, and hygiene kits
Provision of temporary shelter and emergency medical support
Coordination with local authorities and community networks
Documentation of response efforts for accountability and learning
3. Progress & Achievements

200 families received food and water
100 households provided temporary shelter
Persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups prioritized
