There are numerous worthy causes deserving our support. Many of us struggle to decide which cause to prioritize. The appeal to support primary education in a remote part of Tanzania may not be a top priority for many donors.
However, we continue to appeal to generous donors because education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. The children of Ukerewe deserve a helping hand to gain a decent basic education. This project is highly valued by the local community and leaders alike.
Please see the attached letter from the District Director appealing for ongoing support.
We urge our donors to consider the fact that in this project there are no overheads, no admin charges – all the funds we receive are spent on the project.
