This is to once again thank GlobalGiving and our donors worldwide for making this project possible.
Thousands of individuals and families have benetted from this laudible project. Many zoonotic diseases have been avoided amd many lost school hours have been avoided in these affected communities due to this facility.
However. there has been a progressive inadequate water supply to these communities due to poor power supply, ageing equipment, increasing population of this rural communities, and the increasing cost of facility maintenace.
Consequently,water supply from our facility only comes for a few hours in the day when there is power supply from the National Grid. it is usually chaotic at all our service points during the limited hours water pumping.occurs.
The solution to this water suppy inadequacy is power supply augmentation with solar powered system. With much sunlight in this communities all the year round the only materials needed to make this possible are 15 solar panels, 6KVA lithium batteries and the necessary accessaries for equipment connections.
The estimated cost of these materials with labour is $25,000.00 [Twenty five thousands dollars.}
We appeal to GlobalGiving and our numerous donors to donate generously to enable us achieve this last phase of this project.
Thank you all.
Yours sincerely.
