Quarterly Impact Report (February–June 2025)
Thanks to your generous support, Fundación Azulado has been working since February 2025 to bring the Mi Escudo program to 9 public schools across Ecuador. Through this powerful initiative, we’ve reached 4,391 children with tools to build emotional resilience and protect themselves from abuse, violence, and neglect. Using play-based methods and engaging materials, children are learning to recognize risks, set boundaries, and seek help when needed.
In addition, we have trained 168 teachers, equipping them with practical tools to create emotionally safe learning environments. We also organized workshops with approximately 1,620 parents and caregivers, helping families strengthen their protective role at home. These combined efforts ensure that prevention doesn’t stop at the classroom—it continues at home and within the community.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support. With your help, we’re building a stronger safety net for children in Ecuador. In the coming months, we aim to reach new rural schools and continue measuring the long-term impact of Mi Escudo on child wellbeing. Together, we’re creating safer, more caring communities for every child.
