Hello All,
You might know from earlier reports that about 15 years ago a UK Aid project brought boreholes to over 25 primary schools in rural Zimbabwe, this was a huge revoluation for these communities and essential for our schools but pumping the water is not easy it takes a lot of work and often 5-10 children will take a bucket and work for around 15 minutes to fill it from the wellpoint borehole.
We do not have electricity so we can't have pumps installed and the water we get is brown, Action Change was concerned and as such funded the testing of all water sources and although it is brown it did not have any alarming bateria however with you donations and using theis water in the food for the children we have been funding water stralisation tablets for the schools to use when getting water for food.
Another action change project brought innovative solar panels to Zimbabwe and we was able to test these out at two schools and with just 3 panels an inverter and a pump we could provide a steady flow of water non-stop, this is amazing and life changing for these schools and as such now a priority to fundrasie to put these systems in all 53 primary schools that we fund.
Let's hit our target together!
Thank You
Clive
