Dear GlobalGiving Donors and Supporters,

We at the Support Yemeni Society Organization want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering commitment to our mission, "FIGHT CHOLERA AND SAVE YEMENI LIVES. Your generous contributions are making a tangible difference, as every dollar helps save lives in Yemen.

Dear Generous Donors,

As of 2025, Yemen continues to face a severe cholera outbreak, compounded by ongoing conflict, displacement, and limited access to clean water and sanitation. According to the World Health Organization, from January 1 to May 25, 2025, there have been 18,286 reported cholera cases across multiple governorates. The WHO has highlighted how the ongoing conflict and inadequate sanitation infrastructure have intensified this crisis.

Dear Generous Donors,

  • With your support, the SYS team is actively working on the ground in the most affected areas, particularly in Sana'a and Taiz Governorates. Our recent initiatives include:
  • Comprehensive Awareness Campaigns: Focusing on hygiene, safe water practices, and early treatment, we have distributed leaflets, posters, and other materials in public spaces.
  • Oral Cholera Vaccination Campaigns: While we have conducted vaccination drives in several areas, the demand still surpasses the available supply.
  • Hygiene Kits Distribution: We have provided hygiene kits to 30 vulnerable individuals in Sana'a.
  • IV Fluid Distribution: We are ensuring that those in need have access to essential intravenous fluids.

Dear Valued Donors,

The scale of this epidemic is immense, and continued global action and support from donors like you are vital in helping Yemen overcome this crisis and prevent future outbreaks. Together, we can make a significant impact.

Empowering Change Together:

Your continued support is crucial in our fight against cholera in Yemen. We encourage you to contact Mr. Ahmed Al-Qadhi at alhosam82@gmail.com for further updates and information.

Dear Generous Supporters,

This is the power of your donations. No amount is too little or too much when saving lives in war-torn Yemen. We warmly invite you to start a Monthly Donation. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please consider telling your friends and family about our project by sharing the link to our GlobalGiving project on social media or just bringing us up in conversation. We would love to hear why you’ve picked our project, and we think your friends would too.

Warmest regards.

Yours respectfully,

Ahmed Al-Qadhi
