A New Generation of Tech Talent Is on the Rise
Thanks to You
The fourth edition of our IntegrarTEC Full Stack Development Program is well underway, with 45 new scholarship recipients now halfway through their training.
This year, we received 734 applications from young people from low-income backgrounds in the Greater Buenos Aires area. Most are between 19 and 24 years old, and half of them are women. After a rigorous selection process and a technical skills test, 65 candidates were admitted to the leveling course in early March. From that group, 45 earned the full IntegrarTEC2025 scholarship, and they’re making great progress.
As part of our ongoing effort to keep the curriculum aligned with the most in-demand skills in today’s job market, we added three key technologies to this year´s edition: Docker, TypeScript, and DevOps fundamentals. These tools prepare students not just to code, but to understand how real-world software is developed, maintained, and deployed, giving them a critical edge over other entry-level profiles.
The 2025 program began with front-end development using Astro, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In June, students completed their first major group project: building a static website, their first collaborative milestone. Now, they’re moving into more complex territory: backend development, database management, and API creation. These new capabilities expand not only their technical toolkit but also their confidence.
In addition to technical training, students also receive guidance from experienced volunteer mentors working in the IT industry. Organized in small groups, these mentors support students throughout the program, helping them navigate this intensive learning journey and begin shaping their professional identity.
From Student to Teaching Assistant: Rocío’s Story
“Graduating from the 2024 Full Stack Web Development training was a life-changing experience: I gained technical skills, confidence, and a community that supported me all the way.”
This year, Rocío returned to IntegrarTEC, but in a new role: as teaching assistant.
“I’m proud to realize that I can support new students from my own experience, helping them when they get stuck or celebrating their breakthroughs. I also get to collaborate with the teachers and see the behind-the-scenes side of the program. It’s a meaningful way for me to give back, while continuing to grow my own technical and teaching skills.”
First Job, Big Dreams: Diego’s Story
After graduating last year, Diego joined a real-world project at ForIT’s Software Factory.
“Today, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve started an internship at IBM in the QA area. It might not have been the path I originally imagined, but it’s a huge step for me, and I’m committed to making the most of it. I wouldn’t be here without the support and the opportunities I received.”
Your Support at Work
Every dollar you donate fuels real change: scholarships, teacher stipends, updated curriculum materials, software tools, and the ongoing support system that makes success stories like Rocío and Diego’s possible.
Despite the economic challenges facing Argentina, we remain committed to preparing students not just for graduation, but for lasting employment.
By the end of this year, we aim to graduate at least 30 students, ready to take on real roles in the tech industry.
Thank you for believing in the potential of these young people.
