Empowering Women and Families - AMA Project Update

By Maria Jose Orellana | Project Leader

Dear Friends,

We are excited to share the latest updates from our Project AMA, a program dedicated to empowering women and strengthening families in our communities. Thanks to your support, we continue to witness life-changing transformations in the lives of our beneficiaries.

Psychological Support – Healing and Growth

Every week, our beneficiaries receive psychological support, offering them a safe space to share, heal, and grow. These sessions help families cope with challenges, improve communication, and foster emotional resilience. The positive impact of these sessions is evident in stronger family bonds, increased confidence, and a renewed sense of hope.

Capacity-Building Workshops – Financial Empowerment

Project AMA provides training on basic financial management, helping women heads of household organize, plan, and make informed decisions about their family’s resources. This knowledge is empowering them to increase financial independence, plan for the future, and create opportunities for themselves and their families.

Workshops on Violence Prevention and Self-Esteem

Our program continues to offer workshops focused on:

  • Eradicating domestic violence

  • Boosting self-esteem and confidence

  • Empowering women to advocate for their rights

Through these workshops, women gain strength, courage, and the tools to build safer and healthier households.

Upcoming Workshops – Health and Wellness

We are thrilled to announce that very soon, we will offer workshops focused on:

  • Sexual health prevention

  • First aid training

  • Diabetes management and prevention

  • Other essential health topics

These sessions will provide beneficiaries with critical knowledge and skills to care for themselves and their families, ensuring health, safety, and well-being.

 The Impact of Your Support

Every week, we see the difference your support makes: women become more confident, families become stronger, and our community grows more resilient. Project AMA is not just about workshops—it’s about building hope, empowering women, and transforming lives.

Your generosity allows us to expand our programs, reach more families, and provide essential support to women who are determined to improve their lives and their communities.

Join us in this mission! Your continued support helps us:

  • Offer consistent psychological support

  • Deliver empowering workshops and trainings

  • Provide essential knowledge for health, safety, and well-being

Together, we can continue transforming lives and building stronger, safer, and healthier families.

With heartfelt gratitude,
