A Year in Review-Stepping into 2026 with Gratitude

By Sangita Iyer | Founder & Managing Director

Dear friends:

As we enter 2026, we pause to acknowledge the collective effort that sustained our work over the past year. Conservation outcomes are never achieved in isolation; they emerge through long-term commitment, shared responsibility, and informed action.

In 2025, our programs advanced the protection of endangered wildlife, strengthened ecological systems, and supported communities navigating the realities of environmental change. These achievements were made possible through the continued trust and engagement of you - our donors and collaborators.

A brief impact video below offers a snapshot of the year’s progress, highlighting key initiatives and field outcomes.

Asian elephants remain central to this work due to their ecological significance and the broader systems they support. Safeguarding their future directly contributes to forest health, biodiversity, and long-term resilience across landscapes.

Ongoing pressures from development and habitat fragmentation continue to challenge these systems. In response, our approach has focused on evidence-based conservation, habitat protection, and coexistence-driven strategies that balance ecological and human needs.

Looking ahead, 2026 will prioritize deepening impact, strengthening partnerships, and advancing durable solutions grounded in responsibility and care.

Thank you for your continued support and confidence in this mission.

With appreciation,

Sangita Iyer
Founder & Managing Director

PS:  please consider becoming a monthly donor... Just $25 or even $10 per month will provide us with sustained funding. Better still, GlobalGiving will make a one time matching donation after your fourth monthly donation. Thanks for your kind consideration.
