Educating the Public - Media, Speaking and Podcast

By Nicole Arciello | Executive Director

Our advocacy continues to grow stronger thanks to your support.

On September 27th, Horseracing Wrongs founder Patrick Battuello spoke at the Compassion for Animals and the Environment Conference in Newtown, PA—sharing the truth about horseracing’s inherent cruelty and inspiring others to take action.

Across the U.S., our protests continue, giving voice to the thousands of horses suffering and dying on American tracks. We’ve also connected with countless compassionate individuals by tabling at VegFests and other public events, reaching new audiences and building momentum for change.

This fall, our executive director launched Season 2 of the independent In Behalf of Animals podcast and dedicated an episode entirely to the work of Horseracing Wrongs—offering listeners an inside look at our mission, the cruelty inflicted on horses, and the growing movement to end horseracing cruelty. Listen on YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts.

Every day, we continue to educate the public and lawmakers—empowering people to speak out and demand an end to this exploitative industry. Thank you for standing with us and making this vital work possible.

Media Coverage:

Our work is reaching people all over the U.S. and Canada. In just the past few months, we were featured or interviewed in:

This level of sustained, high-profile exposure is shifting public perception and applying pressure on lawmakers and regulators alike.

Together, we're building a movement.  We WILL end this cruel industry. Thank you for being a voice for the horses.

With gratitude,
