Jaguars, along with other amazing wildlife, are threatened with extinction in the Amazon rainforest. A number of issues threaten the Amazon that includes human conflict, unethical tourism, deforestation, poaching and illegal hunting, climate change and disruption of the natural food chain.
This project is leading change locally. Our research has shown that we still have much to learn about the habitat of endangered and critically vulnerable species such as turtles and jaguars. Our work is becoming increasingly critical in helping to protect and save these incredible species. In addition to our research, we are committed to engaging the community through outreach activities led by our environmental education team. Let's work together to ensure the survival of these precious species
