Save the turtles!

By Maisie Mayne | Fundraising intern

What's the Problem?

Tourists: Lots of people visiting beautiful beaches can accidentally disturb turtle nests.
Endangered Turtles: Turtle populations are in trouble, and they need our help.
Nesting Beaches: Turtles need safe, quiet beaches to lay their eggs, but those beaches are getting crowded.
What's the Solution?

These awesome people are working to:

Create Safe Spaces: Build protected areas where turtles can lay their eggs without being disturbed.
Raise Awareness: Teach tourists and locals about how to protect turtles.
Help Sick Turtles: Provide emergency care for turtles that are hurt or sick.
Promote Sustainable Tourism: Help tourism work with nature, not against it.
Why Is This Important?

Turtles are important for the ocean's health.
They're amazing animals that deserve our help.
It shows we can have fun at the beach and still protect nature.
It is important to find ways to have tourism that does not hurt the animals.
How Will They Do It?

They need your help to raise money to build protected areas and care for turtles.
They'll work with local people to protect the turtles.
In Simple Words:

Imagine turtles trying to have babies on a busy playground. It's hard, right? This project is like building a special, safe sandbox for the turtles so they can have their babies in peace. They're also teaching everyone how to be good turtle friends!
