Bread in Reem's Hand... and Dignity in Her Mother's Eyes

By muhammed deebeh | project leader

Dear generous donor,

This is not just a message — it's a voice from inside cold tents, from the heart of hunger, from a mother hugging her four children, trying to convince them that water is a meal.

Ramez, Qusai, Reem, and Sundus — four children who lost their father and now sleep on the bare ground in a camp in northern Syria. They have nothing… no father, no home, no food. All they have left in this harsh world is the kindness that flows from hearts like yours.

Yesterday, we were there.

Our team entered the camp carrying what has become the most precious gift we can offer them: loaves of bread.

We saw Reem jump with joy as we handed her mother a bag of bread.
We saw Sundus hug the loaf like she was hugging life itself.
And we saw their mother… wiping away a tear, trying to stay strong, whispering:
"Who sent this? Tell them... you fed me and my children. You saved me from the shame of asking."

Dear donor,
You may not realize that your small donation means a complete life for an entire family.
You may not witness the scene — but we live it every day.
Every loaf of bread is a message of hope.
Every donation is a promise to a mother that she is not alone.

Today, we need you more than ever.
Because hunger does not wait,
Childhood cannot be postponed,
And dignity can only be restored by hearts like yours.

Continue supporting this project.
Continue saving lives.
Continue giving hope.

Thank you for not forgetting.
Thank you for walking this path of humanity with us.

With many thanks,
