Beautiful Noor asked us to send you her photo

By muhammed deebeh | project leader

Dear Generous Donor,

In a land worn down by war—where bread becomes a dream, and safety a distant hope—your acts of kindness echo deeply in the hearts of those whose lives you’ve touched.

During one of our recent field visits to distribute bread in the camps of northern Syria, we met Noor… a little girl with wide eyes that shimmer with life, despite everything. As she received her loaf of bread, she held it tightly, as if it were a treasure. Then she looked at us and said:
“Tell them thank you… and tell them I love them.”

Noor doesn’t know your names or where you come from, but she feels your kindness. She thanks your hearts before your hands.

Thanks to you, Noor didn’t go to bed hungry that night. Thanks to you, hundreds of families were able to breathe a little easier in a world that grows harsher by the day. This bread—simple as it may be—means life to the people in these camps. It is food, it is dignity, it is warmth in cold nights.

Just imagine: how a single loaf of bread can make someone feel remembered.
That somewhere out there, someone still believes in goodness, and that giving is the greatest act of all.

But the truth remains—we must continue.
There are still many like Noor. Many eyes watching in silence, holding onto nothing but hope.

Your continued support of this project keeps that hope alive.
It means a child won’t cry from hunger. It means a mother won’t be left helpless in the face of nothingness.

Thank you, from the depths of our hearts.
You are more than donors—you are life-givers.

With heartfelt gratitude,
