A Daily Lifeline: Delivering Bread to Sawsan's Displaced Family in Northern Syria

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Donor

In Northern Syria, inside Ihtimilat Camp, young Sawsan lives with her parents, her brother Hassan, and her sister Sarah, enduring the harsh realities of prolonged displacement and the difficult living conditions of camp life. Like thousands of families, they struggle daily with limited food, scarce resources, and the absence of stability that every child deserves.

For this family, even accessing fresh bread has become a heavy burden. Rising prices and shortages of essential items have left them worried about how to secure their basic daily needs. The children—and especially Sawsan—feel the weight of these hardships as they rely almost entirely on humanitarian assistance to meet their nutritional needs.

In response to these urgent circumstances, Amal Al-Ummah Organization provided fresh bread portions to Sawsan’s family, offering essential support that helps ease their daily struggles and improves their food security. This assistance brought comfort and relief to a family that depends on aid to survive.

Providing bread is more than just delivering food—it is a gesture of hope and solidarity, a reminder that they are not alone, and that there are people who care about their suffering. Your generosity is what makes such initiatives possible and what gives children like Sawsan a chance to live their day with dignity and reassurance.

Thank you for your continued compassion and support for vulnerable families.
Together, we bring relief, dignity, and hope to displaced families across Northern Syria.
