Daily Bread, Renewed Hope: Supporting Hatem's Family in Northern Syria

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Valued Supporter,

As part of our ongoing humanitarian efforts to assist the most vulnerable families in northern Syria, Amal Al Umma Organization distributed bread to the family of young Hatem, who lives with his parents and four siblings in Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria.

The family is facing extremely difficult living conditions due to continued displacement and the absence of a stable source of income. They rely heavily on humanitarian assistance to meet their daily needs. Bread is a fundamental staple for the household, yet rising prices and limited resources have made securing it a daily challenge for the parents.

Through this support, we were able to ease part of their burden and provide this essential necessity, helping strengthen their food security, even if temporarily. The initiative also had a positive emotional impact on the children, including Hatem, who are growing up in an environment lacking the most basic elements of stability.

At Amal Al Umma Organization, we carefully identify the most vulnerable families in the camps and oversee distributions directly to ensure fairness, transparency, and that assistance reaches those who need it most.

Your generous support makes this vital assistance possible. Every contribution you provide places daily bread on the table of a family in need and helps alleviate the suffering of children living in displacement camps.

Thank you for your continued trust and compassion. Together, we can reach even more families awaiting support in northern Syria.
