Dear Donor
In the heart of the displacement camps of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, young Samah lives with his family under extremely harsh conditions imposed by the ongoing siege and the collapse of basic services. With the destruction of water infrastructure and the severe shortage of safe drinking water, clean water has become one of the most precious necessities for families in Gaza.
Samah, a little boy with a gentle spirit, faces each day with his family searching for clean and safe water. Long queues, limited access points, and intense heat make this daily struggle even more exhausting.
His mother told us:
"The hardest thing is seeing your children thirsty while you have nothing safe to give them."
Clean Water Distribution… An Urgent Response to a Basic Need
As part of our ongoing efforts to support affected families in Gaza, our humanitarian team reached Deir al-Balah camp with tanks filled with clean, safe water. Samah’s family was among the households that received their much-needed share.
When the water truck arrived, Samah rushed toward it with the other children, carrying a small container he proudly filled. The joy on his face said it all — in a place where water is scarce, every drop is a symbol of life and safety.
How Your Donations Make a Real Difference
Thanks to your generous support:
Why Clean Water Matters in Gaza
With the destruction of water and sanitation systems, and the lack of fuel needed to pump and purify water, thousands of families now depend entirely on humanitarian water deliveries.
This makes providing clean water one of the most critical life-saving interventions in Gaza today.
Thank You… Your Kindness Quenches Thirst and Restores Hope
Samah’s smile as he held his filled container is one of the clearest reflections of the impact of your donations.
Every drop of clean water that reaches a thirsty family carries a message of compassion:
"You are not alone… the world still stands with you."
On behalf of Samah and his family, we extend our deepest gratitude for your continued support and for standing with the most vulnerable children and families in Gaza.
