Clean Water, Lifesaving Relief: Supporting Displaced Families in Gaza

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Valued Supporter,

Amid the severe humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, displaced families living in shelters face an acute shortage of clean water, posing a direct threat to their health and safety—especially for children and the elderly. Water is not merely a daily necessity; it is essential for life. The absence of safe drinking water increases the risk of waterborne diseases and deepens the suffering of families who have already lost their homes and stability.

Providing a reliable source of clean water in shelters is an urgent humanitarian priority. Thousands of families depend on limited distribution points while infrastructure remains heavily damaged and resources scarce. Access to safe drinking water protects families from disease, improves overall hygiene conditions, and reduces the daily burden on women and children who often must search for water under difficult circumstances.

At Amal Al Umma Organization, we are committed to securing clean water for families residing in the camps we serve across Gaza. We do this by supplying potable water through tanker deliveries and organizing fair and systematic distribution to ensure the most vulnerable households are reached. Our field team closely monitors water quality and oversees the distribution process to guarantee safety and dignity.

We believe that every drop of clean water delivers life, health, and renewed hope to a displaced family. Thanks to your generous support, we are able to continue and expand this vital project to reach more shelters and camps in urgent need.

Thank you for your continued trust and humanitarian commitment. Together, we can ensure that clean water reaches every family in need across the Gaza Strip.
