Dear Friend,
Sharing a heartbreaking story of Sareeta, who was sexually assaulted in her youth, including by her own father. This resulted in pregnancy and her father disposing of the child in a bin. When thankfully the incident was reported to the police, her father was sentenced to prison for ten years. The child was rescued and the Sareeta was sent to Seva Mandir’s shelter home, where she provided with rehabilitation, counselling and she even got to finish her studies. Today, she works in a pharmacy and is married. Her son was given up for adoption with the help of Seva Mandir and is now in good health.
Seva Mandir has been operating this shelter home since 2004, and it plays a crucial role in the fight against abuse of women. This has only been made possible through people like you, who can support one woman in need with as less as $100. Your support is life changing for women like Sareeta.
We appreciate your valuable support in helping women in distress, and our aim is to assist many more in need with your assistance.
Kind regards
Ronak Shah
Chief Executive
