Dear Supporter,
Two weeks ago, a small boy named Khaled was rushed into one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria.
He was struggling to breathe.
His tiny body was overwhelmed by multiple complications.
Doctors moved quickly — placing him in the intensive care unit and connecting him to a ventilator to keep him alive.
For his family, every hour felt like a lifetime.
They stood outside the ICU doors with fear in their hearts, unsure if their child would survive the night.
But because of your generosity, Khaled received the urgent care he needed.
Our medical team fought for him day and night — monitoring his fragile condition, adjusting his treatment, and giving his small body the chance to recover.
And today, we are grateful to share good news with you.
After two weeks in intensive care, Khaled has been successfully removed from the ventilator.
He is breathing on his own.
His condition is improving steadily.
If his progress continues, he will be discharged from the hospital within the next two days.
His family can finally hold him without fear.
This is what your support makes possible.
You didn’t just help treat a patient.
You helped save a child’s life.
But Khaled is not the only child fighting to survive.
In northern Syria, many newborns and young infants arrive at SEMA hospitals in critical condition every week.
Premature births, respiratory distress, infections, and complications at birth threaten their fragile lives.
And in these blessed last ten nights of Ramadan, your charity can become the reason another baby survives.
Perhaps your donation tonight will be the treatment that keeps a tiny heart beating.
Help us save the next newborn.
May your generosity in these final nights be rewarded beyond measure.
With gratitude,
