Who could they become if they were given a chance? Our Children's Home in Bali, Indonesia is at the heart of why we exist. We take in children who have been orphaned, abandoned and rejected and provide them with a loving home where they feel comfortable and safe enough to be just that - children. We have over 50 children in our home. Through our valuable supporters and donors, we provide Food, Shelter, Healthcare, Education, Security and, of course a Family.
Tonight in Bali, thousands of children will have no choice but to sleep on the streets. With no food, no safe place to rest, and no one to support them, tomorrow they will wake up and spend the entire day begging, just to survive on a single meal. No child should ever have to live this way. Yet the number of children on the streets is rising, and their future is slipping further out of reach. These are the children we are determined to protect.
Bali Life Foundation provides children coming from unspeakable situations with a home. Whilst we ultimately want all children to grow up with their parents, this is not always an option in Bali. All of the children in our home are provided with food, shelter, healthcare, education, security and a strong community. Our goal is for them not only to survive but to be able to dream. By stepping into this role, we can provide home and purpose for each child, empowering them to be all they can be.
Children are the future. More often than not, poverty in Bali is generational. Unless something is done, these children are born and kept in a cycle of poverty. Bali Life Children's Home grows and empowers each child to become independent, responsible and compassionate citizens. Our Children's Home breaks the cycle of poverty and offers a future of hope for each child. As more and more children graduate from our Children's Home, we can see the positive impact on their local communities.
