Seeds of Impact!

Teacher Training
Teacher Training

The past few months have been full of meaningful work, growth, and beautiful moments of connection. At Planting Seeds, we’ve been inspired by the energy of the students, the creativity of our teachers, and the commitment of families who are building brighter futures together.

We’re excited to share just a few highlights of what we are all making possible!

Training That Multiplies Impact

Across Guatemala, teachers are learning and applying the Planting Seeds Methodology in their classrooms. Now, 13 schools are implementing our model: 5 are Planting Seeds Schools and 8 are partner schools. But our impact goes even further.

This year, we hosted a Pedagogical Conference for 93 public school teachers in San Martín Jilotepeque. We also partnered with organizations to lead teacher training workshops, reaching 183 educators so far this year. Every workshop is a chance to reimagine education and create classrooms where children thrive.

Dads growing alongside with their children!

In an effort to engage more fathers in our Fathers Group, we’ve introduced new and creative ways for dads to connect with their children. From sports nights and shared meals to family outings, the group has grown stronger and more involved. This month, we hosted a special “Story Time with Your Kids” night.

Ten fathers came with their children and took part in a joyful reading activity. After group story time, each dad headed to the library to read one-on-one with their child. Moments like these build deeper bonds, and we’re committed to creating more opportunities for connection and family growth.

Your support helps us nurture not just seeds, but entire gardens of potential in our schools and communities. We are so proud of the progress we’ve made, and we look forward to growing, learning, and dreaming even bigger together in the months to come.
