Fall has arrived at the ranch, bringing with it cool temperatures and bright blue, sunny skies. This time of year, the cats take their nap spots very seriously. Many favor spots where they can enjoy direct sunshine. Others prefer a comfy pillow. Of course, comfy pillows in the sunshine are the number one nap spots.
The cattery recently hosted some guests, a momma cat and two litters of six-month-old kittens born on the neighboring ranch. One litter was orphaned at a very young age. County of San Diego Department of Animal Services shelters are FULL. So, we were able to foster the three boy kittens first and then the four girl kittens and momma until space was available at the shelter. During their time with us, our volunteers did a great job socializing all of the kittens and momma. We are pleased that almost everyone has been adopted. If anyone has trouble finding a forever home, we have made a commitment to add them to the cattery as life-long residents. We are so grateful for the beautiful cattery that allowed us to foster these beautiful kittens and momma.
Thank you very much for your support of the Purrfect Project. Your gifts keep everyone's bellies full and there are plenty of comfy nap spots, regardless of the season.
