World Rainforest Day was celebrated this Sunday June 22nd 2025. That morning, the team at Rainforest Protectors Trust was actively pursuing setting up our first Rainforest Conservation and Education Center in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is home to some of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems, including irreplaceable lowland rainforests like Sinharaja. These ancient forests not only protect endangered wildlife, but also safeguard our climate, water, and way of life.
At Rainforest Protectors Trust, we are committed to preserving and expanding these vital green lungs through land conservation. Every tree we protect is a promise to future generations.
Right now we urgently need your support in raising the required funds towards the Rainforest Conservation and Education Center project. Join us in defending Sri Lanka’s rainforests—because when we protect rainforests, we protect life itself.
