1. Project Overview
The Ramadan Kareem 2025 – Palestinian Appeal aims to support the most vulnerable families in Bethlehem’s Aida and Al-Azza refugee camps during the holy month of Ramadan by providing comprehensive food parcels. These parcels help families cover their basic needs and bring dignity and relief during this sacred time.
2. Progress to Date
Prepared the essential food parcels containing:
Rice, lentils, chickpeas, beans
Fresh and frozen meat
Cooking oil, sugar, tea
Other household essentials
Began distribution to the most vulnerable families in the camps.
Engaged local volunteers and community members to assist with packaging and distribution.
3. Growing Need for Support
Since the war began, the number of families in urgent need has risen sharply. The demand for assistance now extends beyond the refugee camps to include villages, towns, and cities across the Bethlehem area. Rising unemployment and soaring prices have left many families unable to secure their basic monthly needs.
To meet this growing demand, more donations are urgently needed. Your contributions will help us expand the number of food parcels we can prepare and ensure that no family is left behind during Ramadan.
4. Current Challenges
Significant increase in food prices.
Rising number of families requesting aid.
Limited financial resources compared to the high demand.
5. Next Steps
Expand our reach to serve at least 250 families (approximately 1,250 individuals).
Partner with local suppliers to secure bulk discounts and stretch every donation further.
Continue engaging community volunteers to strengthen solidarity and support.
6. Call to Action
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Your support ensures that struggling families can observe Ramadan with dignity and security. Together, we can bring hope and relief to those most in need.
7. Gratitude
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors and supporters who have contributed to this project so far. Your generosity is a lifeline to many families, and with your continued support, we can ensure this campaign reaches every family that needs it most.
