Ramadan Relief: Food Baskets in Gaza and Syria

During the holy month of Ramadan—a month of mercy and solidarity—our team carried out a food basket distribution campaign for displaced families residing in the Talalin Shelter Center in northern Syria. Hundreds of families are living there under difficult humanitarian conditions after being forced to leave their homes and sources of livelihood.

These families are currently staying in the shelter center, which lacks many essential services and resources. They rely heavily on humanitarian assistance to meet their daily needs. With the arrival of Ramadan, the responsibilities on parents increase as they strive to provide iftar and suhoor meals for their children despite limited resources and rising living costs.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to distribute comprehensive food baskets containing essential items sufficient for several days, including rice, bulgur, oil, sugar, legumes, and other basic necessities. These baskets helped ease the burden on families and provided them with a sense of stability and reassurance during this blessed month.

Your support during Ramadan goes beyond providing food—it reflects the true spirit of humanitarian solidarity and compassion. As the difficult conditions persist, the need to continue this support remains urgent to ensure food security for the most vulnerable families residing in shelter centers.
