Dear Donor,
When a child goes to sleep hungry, it’s not just their stomach that aches—our shared humanity does too.
In Talalin Camp in northern Syria, where cold mixes with fear and tears echo in the wind, children live in a harsh reality that knows no mercy. Maher, a seven-year-old boy, hasn’t held a toy in a long time—only a broom. After losing his father to a work-related injury, Maher became the sole provider for his mother and little sister. At an age when he should be playing and dreaming, he works just to bring home a piece of bread.
That piece of bread he holds in his hands—thanks to you—is the only thing that gives him a sense of hope.
What may seem like a simple loaf, is life itself to him.
Because of your generous support, we’ve been able to deliver bread to Maher and to dozens of families who no longer know what safety feels like.
Bread was only the beginning. The beginning of a smile. The beginning of a day where no child goes to bed hungry.
But our journey is far from over.
This project is not a luxury—it’s a lifeline. Every day we manage to deliver bread is a day we help protect a child from begging or a mother from breaking under the weight of her child’s hunger. Your ongoing support is the last shield standing between these children and starvation.
Thank you for being a light in this darkness.
Thank you for writing a new chapter of compassion in the lives of those who have nothing left but God—and you.
With many thanks,
