It's Not Just Bread... It's a Lifeline

By muhammed deebeh | project leader

Dear donor

In Syria, children's suffering isn't measured by temperature or changing seasons—it's measured by the number of days they go without enough food, without real warmth, without a home or a hand to hold.

Among these children are Sami and Rami.
Sami, though just a young boy himself, has become the sole caregiver for his little brother after their parents were killed in an airstrike two years ago. Their home was destroyed, and their world turned to rubble. All they have left now—is each other.

In one of the informal camps in northern Syria, the two brothers live in a fragile tent that lacks even the most basic necessities. Sami cannot attend school, nor can he work—but he never leaves Rami’s side. He is his protector, his only comfort, his world.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to reach them and provide fresh bread.
It may seem like something small, but to them, it was everything.
That bread, made possible by your giving hearts, was the only meal Sami and Rami had that day. More than just food, it was a message—that someone sees them, feels their hunger, and still believes in their worth.

Your donations don’t just feed—they restore hope.

In camps where children’s cries go unheard and their pain unseen by the world, you are the light that reaches them.
Your continued support is the only guarantee that children like Sami and Rami can not only survive—but live with dignity.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

You are more than donors—you are partners in mercy.
Because of you, a simple piece of bread becomes a symbol of life, of care, of humanity renewed.
