To our supporters,
Deforestation remains a pressing global issue, contributing approximately 10% to climate change and global warming. Between 1990 and 2020, the world lost an estimated 420 million hectares of forest, an area roughly the size of the European Union. This loss not only exacerbates climate change but also leads to land degradation, increased natural disasters, and the destruction of critical natural habitats. In response, our project has been dedicated to preserving large forest areas and reforesting affected regions to mitigate these adverse effects.
Our initiative aims to replant trees in degrades areas, ensure sufficient land use, preserve at risk forest regions and educate communities on the impacts of climate change and the significance of forests. We have also established nurseries in severely degraded zones, conducted awareness campaigns, and provided necessary equipment and operational support for global reforestation efforts.
Despite global commitments to reduce deforestation, recent data indicates that forest loss continues at an alarming rate. In 2023, global deforestation increased to 6.4 million hectares, surpassing levels prior to the 140-country pledge to end deforestation by 2030. This underscores the urgency of our mission and the need for continued efforts in forest conservation and restoration.
We plan to:
1.Expand Partnerships: Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations to pool resources and expertise.
2.Enhance Education: Develop comprehensive educational programs to foster a deeper understanding of the importance of forests.
3.Innovate Practices: Adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reforestation efforts.
