Hello Friends,
Work is well under way on our latest efforts to improve clean water access in northern Tanzania, thanks to your continued generosity and support.
We are currently drilling the first of two new boreholes in northern Tanzania, with work having recently begun on site, in Simanjiro district. Alongside this, we are engaging closely with three different communities and working with two geological surveying companies to identify the best location for the second borehole. Both sites will help us extend the provision of clean, safe water to more rural communities in need.
Once completed, the boreholes will be solarised, ensuring a sustainable and long-lasting water supply without reliance on expensive and polluting fuel sources. This approach means that, for years to come, families, schools, and livestock will have reliable access to the water they depend upon.
We are excited by the progress so far and look forward to sharing more updates as the work continues. As always, please do share news of this project with friends and relations – together, we are helping transform access to one of life’s most basic necessities.
Many thanks, and best regards,
Kirsten and the SVRG Team
