Introduction
This quarterly report presents progress under the project “Rehabilitation of 300 Cerebral Palsy Children,” focusing on strengthening caregivers’ capacity in home-based rehabilitation. During this period, the project trained mothers and caregivers using the Baby Ubuntu modules, specifically on Positioning, Feeding, Mobility, and Early Stimulation.
The goal for the quarter was to improve functional abilities of enrolled children while empowering caregivers with sustainable skills that can be practiced daily at home.
Key Activities Conducted
a. Caregiver Training Sessions
b. Home Follow-Up Sessions
Field visits were carried out to monitor progress, demonstrate exercises, and support caregivers in applying the techniques at home.
Individual rehabilitation plans were updated based on each child’s development stage.
c. Child Functional Assessments
Baseline and follow-up assessments were completed for each child to track developmental changes.
