It's hard to believe that 2020 is coming to an end!
We had hoped that we would be able to advise that we were out of the woods by now, but sadly this is not the case.
Despite the challenges, your support has enabled us to continue with our veterinary assistance to needy pet owners who cannot afford the fees for private veterinary work, as well as to the strays passing through our two shelters.
With the economic climate being so depressed, we are seeing unusually large numbers of pets being surrendered to us, but fortunately our adoption numbers have not dropped off noticeably.
Sadly, at this time of year we see many mother cats and kittens handed over, but the kittens are so very cute and most often find new and loving homes.
The general public have been very supportive with donations of pet food which have reduced our need to purchase supplies and conserving funds.
We really hope we can count on your continued support as we look forward to the lifting of the COVID restrictions and returning to normality.
Wherever in the world you are, we wish you and your pets a joyful and happy festive season and we all look forward to a more hopeful 2021.
