Restoring Hope and Mobility in Southern Haiti

Fondation Tous Ensemble’s Prosthetics and Orthotics Lab in Les Cayes continues to serve as the only facility of its kind across Haiti’s southern departments, offering vital care to individuals with disabilities in a region still recovering from the 2021 earthquake and ongoing systemic challenges. Our team remains committed to improving mobility, autonomy, and quality of life through personalized rehabilitation services. 

Key Achievements (March 2025 – June 2025)

• Total consultations: 3,767

  • Children: 727 consultations

  • Adults: 3,040 consultations

• New patient evaluations: 295 (average of 63 per month)

• Orthotic services:

  • 169 orthotic devices fabricated

• Prosthetic services:

  • 9 prosthetics fabricated

  • 27 prosthetics repaired

• Assisted devices distributed: 31

• Clubfoot consultations: 105

• Monthly patient volume: An average of 296 patients served per month

Community Engagement and Capacity Building

In addition to direct services, FONTEN continues to expand its community presence through outreach, education, and training activities:

• Formation Handicap NOVA (Cavaillon): 39 participants

• Stroke and sexuality training (Les Cayes): 35 participants

• Mobile clinics:

  • Maniche/Lépine: 28 participants

  • Nova Hope for Haiti: 29 participants

  • Duccis: 41 participants

• Recreational activity for Mother’s Day (at FONTEN): 46 participants

• Staff health and safety training: 34 participants

• Training for amputees: 18 participants

From March to June 2025, Fondation Tous Ensemble continued to serve hundreds of people each month through its prosthetics and orthotics services, mobile outreach, and targeted trainings. With a patient-centered approach and ongoing community-based initiatives, we are proud to restore dignity, movement, and hope to individuals across southern Haiti.
