The Road to Healing project is progressing positively and with intention. Planning and preparation are well underway to ensure each self-care kit is thoughtfully curated to support the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of abused girls participating in our program.
We have sourced trauma-informed, age-appropriate self-care items that promote comfort, empowerment, and healing. Each kit is designed not only to meet immediate self-care needs but also to serve as a tangible reminder that the girls are valued, supported, and deserving of care.
In addition to assembling the kits, we are coordinating wellness-focused activities and reflective exercises that will accompany kit distribution. These activities will help participants understand the importance of self-care, emotional regulation, and healthy coping strategies as part of their healing journey.
Our team remains committed to creating a safe, supportive, and affirming experience for each participant. We anticipate completing assembly and distribution as scheduled and look forward to the meaningful impact this project will continue to have on the girls we serve.
Thank you for the opportunity to bring healing, hope, and restoration to young girls through this initiative. Please continue to share our project.
