We deeply appreciate your continued generosity. Thanks to your support for the Rohingya Refugee Relief Fund, GlobalGiving partners can sustain their vital programs that bring hope, care, and relief to Rohingya communities facing ongoing displacement. This support is especially crucial now, as reductions in international aid have worsened living conditions, which increases health risks and limits  access to healthcare, food, and other basic necessities.

Since our last update, we’ve provided an emergency grant to a trusted, community-led nonprofit providing lifesaving care to women and children living in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh.

Hope Foundation for Women & Children of Bangladesh provides vital healthcare services to Rohingya women and children, offering emergency childbirth care and treatment for serious medical conditions. Due to aid cuts and the closure of nearby health clinics, HOPE Foundation is now struggling to serve an increased number of patients who are battling malnutrition, infectious diseases, and pregnancy complications.

As healthcare access for Rohingya dwindles, your contributions mean HOPE Foundation can provide critical, life-saving care. As their team shared:

“Every day we see how essential it is to sustain this lifeline for the Rohingya community, because we deliver about 2-3 babies per day, sometimes more.” - HOPE Foundation

Your donations fuel these essential services—providing critical aid when it is needed most.

Thank you for standing in solidarity with us and with the Rohingya people.

With immense gratitude,

Heather + GlobalGiving Team

About GlobalGiving’s Disaster Response

When a disaster strikes, recovery efforts led by people who live and work in affected communities are often overlooked and underfunded. GlobalGiving is changing this reality. Since 2004, we've been shifting decision-making power to crises-affected communities through trust-based grantmaking and support.

We make it easy, quick, and safe to support people on the ground who understand needs in their communities better than anyone else.

They were there long before the news cameras arrived, and they’ll be there long after the cameras leave. They know how to make their communities more resilient to future disasters, and they’re already hard at work. GlobalGiving puts donations and grants directly into their hands. Because the status quo—which gives the vast majority of funding to a few large organizations—doesn’t make sense.
