Trees Giving Cash crop for small land holders
AHD working with small land holders and about 500 small farmers planted trees on their lands, the farmers near Jati area coastal belt facing poverty and water shortage in past years, AHD mobilizes some 500 small farmers to plant trees on their lands and as per estimate these farmers planted Eucalyptus and Conocarpus Tree species on their lands, these trees grow faster and in 2-3 three years it give good income. As per one of farmer, He planted some 800 trees some 3 three years back and now he sold one tree in 600 Rs and total income he generated 480,000 PKR amount, this is great help and these trees again grow faster and wood same available in next 3 three years time.
AHD recommend other farmers to plant trees on their lands and earn handsome amount during crises times.
