Support for Floods & Disaster Mitigation
Badin & Thatta is considered as low income and poverty stricken districts of Sindh Pakistan after Tharparkar. The recent heavy rain spell during 24-26 July results flooding in more than 600 villages in Badin districts, some 54 villages in Hajji Sawan & Budho Kamabrani also affected largely. The Rain Water enters in to the houses of poor villagers and they shifted their house utensils etc to safe places.
The Tree plantation in said villages is very low, our AHD staff team visited the sites and areas, as well as villages and found on plantation of trees, once again we at AHD want to distribute forest tree nursery in 600 villages that they can prepare themselves for the incoming flooding disasters
