Trees providing Shelter, Oxygen, Wood & Income generation for rural population
The trees planted by local farmers in Jati area now happy to have shelter at household level, some trees grown on large scale and having rich vegetation with cover of shelter, during visits in Jati area a male group meeting conducted in village near Jati and farmers gathered to attend the farmer meeting. AHD staff was surprised to see that the tree grown well and having rich vegetation and shelter. About 35 farmers gathered and attended meeting for the awareness on “GREEN Pakistan” project to plant more trees.
One farmers share that he sold 110 Eucalyptus tree of 3-4 years around in US $ 1,350 means he earned in local PKR 145,800/= which is handsome amount for their family as well as further tree plantation,
During 2017 we at AHD planned to plant 100,000 trees in coastal area, for this prupose your cooperation needed
