Dear Valued Donors,
The SOLVE-IT-RIGHT (SIR) Project was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that mastering mathematics can unlock a young man's potential and empower him to become a leader in his community. Your past support has been instrumental in turning this belief into a reality for many boys, providing them with skills and confidence that extend far beyond the classroom.
It is with this mission firmly in mind that I report on the status of our recent quarter. With deep regret, we had to temporarily pause the enrollment of new participants into our free weekly math program. This difficult decision was made due to a critical shortfall in funding.
This report is a transparent account of this challenge and a reaffirmation of our commitment to restarting this vital program. The need in our community has not gone away, and neither has our dedication to serving it.
Our Mission: Empowering Boys, Building CommunityThe SIR Project is more than just a math class. It is a community development initiative designed to:
Empower boys aged 14-18 with essential math proficiency and critical thinking abilities.
Foster community engagement through collaborative problem-solving and interactive sessions.
Build confidence and open doors to future academic and career opportunities for participants.
By providing a structured, supportive, and engaging environment, we help boys see math not as a hurdle, but as a tool for success.
Status of the Quarter: A Necessary PauseThis quarter, the SIR Project was unable to enroll participants and host our weekly sessions. The direct cause was a lack of sufficient funds to cover essential program costs, including learning materials, session supplies, and facilitator stipends.
This temporary suspension means that a cohort of young men in our community missed out on the opportunity to enhance their math skills in a positive and encouraging environment. While the pause was necessary for fiscal responsibility, we are keenly aware of the gap it has created.
Our Plan: Relaunching in the New QuarterOur resolve to continue this project is stronger than ever. We have spent this quarter regrouping and strategizing for a successful restart. Efforts are currently underway to secure the necessary funding to relaunch the program in the coming quarter.
Our immediate goal is to raise enough funds to guarantee a full term of the weekly math program, ensuring that once we restart, we can provide a consistent and reliable resource for the boys who enroll.
Your support is the most critical variable in this equation. A renewed contribution will directly enable us to reopen our doors.
Thank YouThank you for your understanding and for your foundational support of the SIR Project. You have helped us make a difference in the past, and we are hopeful that with your help, we will be empowering the next group of boys very soon.
With sincere appreciation,
