Looking ahead, we’ve got a few things cooking that we’re really excited about. Over the next couple months, we’ll be rolling out a small “community toolkit” pilot, basically a lightweight playbook that captures what’s worked (and what hasn’t) from the first wave of projects.
The idea is to make it easier for new communities to get up and running without having to reinvent the wheel. A couple of our volunteers are already testing early drafts, and the early feedback is super encouraging. We’re also planning another on-the-ground visit before the year wraps up. The goal this time is less about launching new builds and more about checking in, listening, and making sure the systems we’ve put in place are actually holding up under real-world conditions.
These visits always leave us energized and usually spark a handful of improvements we wouldn’t have caught from afar. Finally, we’re hoping to share a few personal stories from families impacted by the new water systems. It’s one thing to talk about wells and training summits, but hearing directly from the people whose daily lives have changed? That’s the part that reminds all of us why this work matters. We’ll keep you posted as things unfold.
Thanks again for being part of this your support genuinely fuels everything we’re able to do.
